Here is a catch up with whats been going on here in the union and a short piece from each officer.
Thomas Drury - President
August was a good month full of small victories. It was the month of preparation for the start of inductions. We organised the Administrative office, we re-arranged the pool tables, we got one of the walls painted and decorated the Union in several Wall Vinyls. These are only some of the physical preparations we took in August. We're all continuing to work on SHIFT and Freshers Week, working on planning the National Demonstration in Dublin on the 3rd of October, and finally planning on gathering class reps so we can roll out our first class rep council before the beginning of November. #RunForRep The work doesn't stop here, It's only begun.

August flew by quickly! This month consisted of creating the welfare section of the Fresher’s handbook, attending SMART consent facilitator training, finalising the S.H.I.F.T week campaign that takes place during the week of September 16th, and providing students with information about accommodation. I am looking forward to the madness of September and to recruiting welfare crewmembers to help me with campaigns. If you need, anything please speak with one of the admins and they will direct you to my office.
